Different types of abrasive cloth
Obviously there are several types of processes. For each one, you have to use a different and specific abrasive cloth. Here’s a list of the ones you can choose for abrasive flap wheels on shaft:
- Corundum: thanks to the flexible support it’s recommended for metalworking;
- Zirconium: it has a rigid support that ensures a great ablation, and it’s the ideal solution for any type of operation on stainless steel;
- Ceramic: provides a high speed for cold cutting both on alloy steel and inox. Also, this cloth has an high permormance for ablation.
- Silicon Carbide: without any doubt it’s essential to work on really hard materials, like glass, stone and marble.
